Bell Peppers Zest Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1-2 tsp olive oil
  • 1/4 onion, sliced
  • 1/2 yellow bell pepper, seeded and sliced
  • 1/2 orange bell pepper, seeded and sliced
  • 1 green chilly, seeded and sliced
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped
  • 1/2 red bell pepper, seeded and sliced
  • Zest and juice of 1 lemon: To get the zest of lemon, scrape the outside of the lemon peel
  • Himalayan pink salt
  • Pepper

    Bell Peppers Zest Recipe
    • In a sauté pan, heat 2 tsp. olive oil or butter, and then sauté the garlic, and green chili over medium heat.
    • Add the red, orange, and yellow peppers. Saute for 1 minute.
    • Add the onion, and lemon zest to the pan. Continue cooking until the peppers are slightly tender.
    • Remove the pan from the heat. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
    • Now, add the lemon juice and serve hot.
