- Till then chop 1 onion, 1 tomato, 2 green chilies, and 3-4 cloves of garlic.
- In a pressure cooker, add 2 tsp oil and cumin seeds.
- Now add chopped onion and fry it till light brown
- Further, add chopped tomatoes, chilies and garlic now cook them for 2 minutes.
- Next, add salt, and turmeric powder into it.
- Finally, add chana dal and 2 cups of water cover the lid of the pressure cooker
