Today we are making Curd Rice which is really delicious, super nutritious, and refreshing.
It is a signature dish of south india.
Peel and chop the ginger. Wash and chop the green chilies. Wash the curry leaves. Prepare steamed rice. Cool the rice then add curds and mix well. Keep aside in a bowl. In a pan heat some oil, add mustard seeds.
Once they crackle add asafoetida and curry leaves. Then add chopped green chilies and ginger. Remove from heat and keep aside. Add salt to the rice and curd mixture. Mix. Pour the seasoning onto the rice and curd mixture. Mix well and serve.
Garnish with pomegranate seeds.
