How to make it

Method:

  1. In a bowl take besan, lemon juice, salt, turmeric and mix it well. Add water to it and mix well to form a medium thick paste.
  2. Sprinkle fruit salt over the batter and set aside for 5 to 10 minutes.
  3. Take a glass bowl and grease it. Pour the batter into it and cook for 10 -15 minutes.

To prepare the tadka :

  1. Take pan and heat it.
  2. Put mustard seeds in it and let them pop. Add dried red chilli and curry leaves to it.
  3. Pour the mixture over the dholka once the liquid comes on room temperature.
  4. Keep the dhokla in the refrigerator for about 20-25 minutes.
