How To Make Fafda?

  • Firstly, in a bowl add besan/gram flour, turmeric, crushed black pepper, hing, salt, and baking soda. Mix well.
  • Secondly, add water to knead a soft and smooth dough, and also, add oil and mix well. Continue kneading and keep aside for 30 minutes.
  • Thirdly, form small balls in a cylindrical shape and flatten them into an oval shape with your palms or rolling pin on a wooden board greased with oil.
  • Now, preheat the air frier to 180 degrees and place the fafdas into it and cook until it is crispy and golden.

  • While making a dough add water and oil accordingly, making sure that the dough is smooth and soft.
  • Also, make sure you keep kneading the dough until it absorbs all the water.
  • Cover your dough with a cloth so that it does not get dry.
  • Do not put much pressure while flattening the ball of the dough, as it might stick to the board.
