Ingredients
  • 2 boneless fish fillet
  • 1 tbsp roasted gram flour besan
  • 2 tbsp yogurt/curd
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin powder
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 2 tsp red paprika powder
  • Salt (as prescribed by dietitian)
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Indian grilled fish is popular all around the world for its amazing taste and spices. So today’s recipe is possibly the easiest way to grill fish with easy steps. It can also be served with rice or noodles.

    1. Firstly, clean, wash and cut the fish into square bite size pieces.
    2. Then in a mixing bowl, combine fish pieces with besan, yogurt, spices and salt.
    3. Combine nicely so that all the pieces are coated well with the marinade.
    4. Afterwards, let it rest in the marinade for 30 minutes in the fridge.
    5. Simultaneously, heat your barbecue or charcoal grill or grill pan.
    6. Soak the bamboo skewers in water for 10 minutes to prevent from burning while grilling.
    7. Then, pat dry the skewers and grease them nicely with oil.
    8. Thread the marinated fish pieces into oiled skewers and make sure not to leave any space between each piece while threading.
    9. Then, grill the skewered fish in the barbecue/charcoal/oven or in the grill pan.
    10. Lastly, cook till the fish pieces are cooked uniformly and turn golden from outside.
    11. Squeeze lemon juice on top and serve hot!
