How To Make Vegan Mango Oats Porridge In Coconut Milk

Ingredients
  • 1 Frozen Mango Pulp
  • 1 cup Coconut Milk or Vegetarians can use full fat milk
  • 1 cup Oats
  • 1 tsp Stevia (Optional)
  • Handfull of Almonds
  • 3-4 Strawberries to garnish
  • Well it’s already 40 degree Celsius in North of India and we can’t stop ourselves from buying mangoes. As a kid, summers meant mango to most of us but as we grew up we became aware about the fact that mango doesn’t help in weight-loss.

    So-called self-proclaimed �Health gurus� create more confusion in our minds whether to have mango or not.

    Answer is Yes and no both as it depends how you are consuming and in which combination.

    You can lower the Glycemic index of a food by adding fibre to it, add some good fats and the Insulin index goes down. Here is how to enjoy mangoes this summer.

    Recipe: Cook 1 cup of oats in 2 cups of water for 5 minutes and set it to cool down and when it comes to room temperature add Frozen Mango and Coconut to it and in a high speed blender, give it a quick stir. Now garnish it with crushed Almonds and chopped Strawberries.
