Hung Curd Sandwich

  • Curd - 1/2 Cup
  • Bell Peppers - 1/2 Cup Finely Chopped
  • Whole Wheat Bread - 4 Slices
  • Carrots, Iceberg Lettuce - 1/2 Cup
  • Black Pepper - 2 Pinch
  • Dried herbs/Oregano - 2 Pinch
  • Green Chilli - 2 Finely Chopped
  • Salt - As per taste

    Hung Curd Sandwich
    • Firstly, to prepare hung curd, in a muslin cloth place 2 cups curd and tie it tightly. 
    • Keep it overnight or refrigerate it for 2 hours or till the curd drops off all water and turns thick and creamy.
    • Then, cut the red, yellow and green bell peppers finely with carrots and iceberg lettuce.
    • Shift hung curd in a bowl and add all the veggies to it. Mix well.
    • Now, add black pepper, and oregano or dried herbs of your choice.
    • Add finely chopped green chili and then, add salt according to taste.
    • Spread the prepared stuffing on both sides of the whole wheat bread. Then cover with another slice and press gently. 
    • Grill or heat the curd sandwich on a pan till crisp and golden.
    • Finally, cut half and enjoy this guilt free sandwich.
