Ingredients
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp mustard
  • 2 to 3 curry leaves
  • 1/4 cup grated dry coconut
  • 1 tsp ghee
  • 1 tsp urad dal
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp coriander seeds
  • 1/2 tsp hing/asafoetida
  • 1 red chilli
  • 1 tsp coriander leaves chopped

    Pepper Rasam Recipe
    • To begin, add black pepper, urad dal, and coriander seeds to a medium-hot pan.
    • Now, roast for two to three minutes on low heat. Reduce the heat to low and then stir in the grated dry coconut.
    • Turn off the heat after one minute of roasting. Then, allow this mixture to cool.
    • To make a coarse powder, combine all of the dry ingredients in a blender. Set this aside for now.
    • Meanwhile, melt ghee in a pan over medium heat. Then, add the mustard and cumin seeds after the ghee has melted.
    • Add the red chili, hing, and curry leaves after that.
    • Stir vigorously until the mixture splutters. After that, add 1/2 cup of water and milk.
    • Also, give everything a good mix before bringing it to a boil for 2 minutes.
    • Toss in the pepper and urad dal combination that has been mixed.
    • Also, on a low flame, bring it to a boil for 4 to 5 minutes.
    • After that, add the salt and stir thoroughly.
    • Then, boil after 2 minutes of simmering.
    • Remove from the fire and also stir in the chopped coriander leaves.
    • The nutritious and delectable milk pepper rasam is now ready to serve!
    • Serve this rasam with 1 tsp ghee and hot rice.
