Ingredients
  • Boiled Noodles - 2 cups
  • Onion - 1
  • Capsicum - 1
  • Cabbage - 1/2
  • Mushrooms - 5
  • Carrot - 1
  • Lemon leaf - 2
  • Garlic - 3 cloves
  • Soya Sauce - 2 tsp
  • Vinegar - 2 tsp
  • Sesame seeds - 1 tsp
  • Red Chilli Powder - 2 tsp
  • Chilli Flakes - 1 tsp
  • Salt as per taste
  • When we think of cheat meals or eating junk, nothing but noodles always tops the list as they are clearly everyone’s favorite. Who wouldn’t want to have a plate of hot, tangy, and flavorsome noodles? But have you ever tried healthier and yet delicious Hakka noodles?     While street noodles or cup noodles are loaded with calories this rice noodle with stir fry veggies has just 125 kcal and is perfect for your weight loss journey.

    How To Make Rice Noodles At Home?

    Here is Fitelo’s version of Hakka Noodles with no chemicals and added preservatives. It is healthy and perfect for weight loss.

    • Firstly, boil the rice noodles with oil and salt in a pan and keep them aside.
    • Secondly, sprinkle some oil on a pan, add onions, and toss them until they turn a little brownish.
    • In addition to that, add green capsicum, carrots, cabbage, mushrooms, and lemon leaf. 
    • Saute the veggies for about 2 minutes.
    • Also for the dressing in a bowl, add soya sauce, vinegar, garlic, salt, red chili, and sesame seeds in it.
    • Moreover, add the dressing and the stir-fried veggies to the noodles and give it a good toss.
    • Finally, your healthier version of chow mein is ready! Enjoy!

    Tips

    • Make sure not to overboil the noodles otherwise, they will become sticky.
    • You can also skip or add veggies according to your preference.
    • Don’t use oil too much, just sprinkle some on the pan.
