  • Water - 2 cups
  • Rava Sooji / Semolina - 1 cup
  • Stevia - 0.5 tsp
  • Ghee - 1.5 tbsp
  • Fennel Seeds- 0.5 tsp
  • This easy melt-in-the-mouth Sooji halwa recipe comes together in about 15 minutes! It is flavourful and also serves as a sweet morning breakfast or an after-meal dessert. Moreover, this recipe can be eaten guilt-free without any adverse effects.

    • Slice the almonds thin and set them aside.
    • Then, take a saucepan and add 1 cup of water to it. Once it starts to boil, add stevia and make a syrup. Once done, strain it and set it aside.
    • Take a pan. Add ghee. Once it starts to warm up, add the fennel seeds and allow them to crackle.
    • Add semolina and sauté it on a low flame till it turns a golden color.
    • Add the stevia syrup along with the remaining water and mix well continuously to avoid lumps.
    • Once the halwa begins to thicken, cook it for another 4-5 minutes. Once done, it will be like a darker-colored halwa.
    • Garnish with sliced almonds and raisins and serve hot!
