  • Curry leaves
  • Salt and oil
  • Mustard seeds - 1/4 tsp
  • Curd - 1/2 cup
  • Besan - 1/2 cup
  • Lauki (Chopped) - 1 Cup
  • White Rava - 1 cup
  • Ginger
  • Red Chilli powder
  • Turmeric powder - A pinch
  • Hing - A pinch
  • Sesame seeds - 1/4 tsp
  • Grated coconut
  • Eno or Baking soda - 1 tsp
  • Coriander leaves
  • Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
  • This Lauki Dhokla recipe makes a perfect snack. Also, the seasoning on the top keeps the health quotient up for this wholesome super delicious recipe.

     Lauki Dhokla Recipe
    • Take a Lauki, peel off its skin, and chop it into cubes.
    • Take a grinder, add ginger, chili powder, turmeric powder, and Lauki without water, and then make a paste.
    • In a bowl, add Rava, besan, beaten curd, and lauki paste add salt mix and all the ingredients with little water.
    • Then let it rest for 10 min.
    • Heat a steamer or idli cooker, and also grease the bowl with oil.
    • Add eno / baking soda to the mixture prepared, and then mix it quickly and transfer it to plate steam.
    • Then, add the bowl to the steamer, and heat on a medium flame for 15-20 minutes.
    • Check if the dhokla is ready with a toothpick. Now slowly transfer it to the plate.
    • Take a pan, heat 1/2tsp oil add mustard seeds, hing, curry leaves and mix it for a few seconds and turn off the gas.
    • Now transfer this tadka on top of dhokla, then add grated coconut, sesame seeds, and coriander leaves to it.
