Formula:

Male = Height × 0.415

Female = Height × 0.413

Distance (km) = (Steps × Stride Length in meters) ÷ 1000

Example:
Male, 170 cm height, 7,500 steps → Stride length = 0.705 m → Distance = 5.29 km

Covering more distance daily strengthens your heart, improves endurance, and increases daily activity levels.

Calories Burned

Formula:

Calories burned are based on weight × distance walked.

Calories Burned = Distance (km) × 0.57 × Weight (kg)

Example:
Distance = 5.29 km, Weight = 70 kg → Calories = 211 kcal

Burning calories through walking helps manage weight, boost metabolism, and gradually reduce body fat.

Formula:

We assume an average walking speed of 5 km/h.

Time (minutes) = (Distance (km) ÷ 5) × 60

Example:
Distance = 5.29 km → Time Active = 63 minutes
