Desiccated coconut - 1/4 cup
Dates - 1/4 cup (Deseeded and chopped)

Ingredients: For the Outer Covering:
1 cup oats, powdered
1/4 cup water
A pinch of salt
Instructions:
- In a food processor or blender, grind oats into a fine powder. Transfer the powdered oats to a mixing bowl.
- Boil water with a pinch of salt and gradually add it to the powdered oats. Mix well to form a smooth and pliable dough. Cover it with a damp cloth and set it aside.
- In a separate pan, heat 1 tablespoon of ghee and lightly roast the chopped mixed dry fruits until they become aromatic.
- Add desiccated coconut, chopped dates, and cardamom powder to the pan with the dry fruits. Mix well and cook for a few more minutes until the mixture comes together. Turn off the heat and let the filling cool down to room temperature.
- Take a small portion of the oats dough and shape it into a small cup-like disc using your fingers or a rolling pin.
- Place a spoonful of the dry fruit and coconut filling into the center of the disc.
- Seal the edges of the disc to enclose the filling and shape it into a modak with a pointed top.
- Repeat the process with the rest of the oats dough and filling to make more modaks.
