Ingredients
  • Ragi- 1 cup
  • Curd- 1 cup
  • Water (as much required)
  • Salt (as directed by your dietitian)
  • Lime juice- 1 tsp
  • Suji- 1 cup

    We usually cook idli with rice flour or any other whole grain flour, but today we are going to tell you the instant way to cook ragi idli that everyone will love to eat.     How to Make Ragi Idli Recipe Instantly?  

    • First, take a pan and put it on flame. Now fry roast ragi in it. 
    • Again take the pan and dry roast suji also. 
    • Now, take a bowl pour water curd, and add roasted ragi and suji. Mix it well to make a thick batter.
    • Set aside for about 10 minutes.
    • The batter must not be watery, it should be thick in consistency.
    • Now heat a steamer with water. Meanwhile, fill the idli plates with ragi batter.
    • When the water in the steamer begins to boil, place the idli stand in the cooker and steam for about 10-15 minutes.
    • After that turn off the heat and insert a skewer in the idled and if it comes out clean or with slight crumbs, your idlis are cooked.
    • Allow them to cool down a bit and remove them from the plate with the help of a spoon.
    • Serve the ragi idli with coconut or a homemade recipe of sambhar without drumsticks.
